  - My husband Don, who recently retired from Lucent Technologies.
  - My older son Michael, who is a Partner with Accenture Consulting
  - His wife April, who recently received her Masters in Art History from the University Of London
  - My favorite son David, who is a vagabond and does processor design and other voodoo technology in Silicon Valley and who created this site.
  - Our two cats, Ginger and Grendel
  

• Bicycling
  My husband introduced me to the joy of bicycling. I started slowly and nervously and ended up being a competent cyclist, taking on RagBrai in 1989, a 500 mile trek across Iowa. I have since pretty much given up cycling for...

• Kayaking
  I discovered Kayaking and Don and I haven't stopped since. We have kayaked on the nearby Fox River in Illinois, as well as on trips to Alaska, Florida, Baja California and Lake Michigan.

• Cooking
  My family will attest to my cooking abilities. I used to compete in County Fairs and have many prize ribbons to show for this. My son's favorite is a blue ribbon for 'Best In Pickles.' (Not because he likes pickles, but because he likes how that sounds).

• Dolls
  I have a massive collection of dolls from places that my family and I have visited all around the world. Perhaps someday some of their pictures will end up on this site.

• Favorite Toy: Restored 1986 Mazda RX-7
  Don did what the Mazda mechanics told him was impossible and rebuilt the engine on my RX-7. We have since restored it and it is a pleasure to drive.
